To my faithful readers, I am back on my blog. Purim, court hearings and now yom tov have prevented me from writing. Hopefully I am back in full swing and tomorrow I shall continue my story.
I am a survivor of sexual abuse and I am currently in the midst of divorcing an abusive husband. I am frum (religious), I am the mother of a large family, and I suspect that there are many of you out there in similar situations. At present I email a couple of friends on a daily basis about how my day is going. There is alot going on because of my divorce and therefore the support and feedback I get from the emails is extremely helpful. I realized that if I use this blog to write, I will reach many more people, and perhaps you will respond, and we can support each other. Personally I find writing extremely helpful in sorting out my thoughts and feelings. Because of the nature of our frum communities and its Shidduchim, I will remain anonymous for the time being. I am sure all of you understand why this is necessary. I am not ashamed of what has happened to me, but I need to protect my children from people who are vicious and would be happy to destroy the truth.
