The Town Hall Meeting will be held to discuss the dark secret that everyone is aware of, but does not want to talk about. Shame, secrecy and fear around discussing sexual abuse is a harsh realty in every community. (like secular college campuses, e.g., Sandusky, and the halls of religious schools) and we must confront it.
We have the opportunity to gather with leading legal experts in the field to discuss what policies can be implemented to combat abuse in our community specifically, and to give proper direction on what to do if G-d forbid abuse occurs.
Let us gather together to come up with practical solutions that protect potential and actual victims.
